No Excuses! 30 Days of Dedication!

I am starting my new diet work out plan today. My new mantra...No Excuses! Shortly after starting  my blog we were in the hospital with my fiances mom. I have been sick, kids sick, no motivation...you name it. Well, today the excuses stop. I am going to give myself the entire month of February to try and do this right. I know I have it in me and I know I have the determination, now I have to make sure I have the self restraint! I'll be posting details and measurements shortly.

Happy 2012!!

Well, I took some time off from blogging for a bit due to family health issues but I am back now. What would be better than making some resolutions for 2012? Making them on January 3rd!! That is the day our vacation is over so I will begin blogging again soon. :) Take care!

Goals for December

I wanted to start this new goals posting before January so I do not have to make it a resolution! lol Here it is

* Participate in the slim and 6 program until 1/16/2012
*Lose 10 lbs in 6 weeks (190 by 1/16/12)
*Begin 10k training
*Eat healthy meals 6 times a day
*Save my 2 "me" snacks until the weekend
*Drink 1 gallon of water a day
*Hug and kiss my littles every day!!!

After some time away

It never ceases to amaze me that if I take any amount of time off from exercising as soon as I go back to it my body acts like I have never even exercised! I did day 1 of my slim in 6 tape yesterday and I am totally feeling it today. I have to stick with it though because I know if I don't when week 6 rolls around I am going to feel horrible again! Anyway, plan for today is to do my tape again and try ot get caught up around here.

Bird food snack

I may be a snacking genius! Ok, maybe not but at least I feel good right now :) The girls and I are home with a rainy day today so it was time to get creative in the kitchen. I made a morning snack for "them" ok, me too. We decided to dub it "bird food". A fruit mix of banana pieces, strawberries, raisins and oat clusters. Yummy! And oh so healthy!

Back on it!

Ok, so around here we tend to not let go of holidays very easily. We decided to take an extra week off for Thanksgiving and it was amazing! I was not pressing myself to exercise much but I was making sure to eat sensibly though. Either way I weighed in this morning at 199 so that is great! I know I was lower a bit before but at least I stayed under 200lbs right?! I'll hang my head on that for now. Well, I have a case of the Monday (wink office space) but my Mondays are GREAT! I am a freak of nature because I actually enjoy that day. Obviously I love me some Fridays too but Mondays are always great for my lets start over sentiment. :) So This morning I started my day with a slim fast and more healthy eating to follow. My plan is to switch it up a bit so try and trick my body into losing some weight. I am starting my Slim in 6 tape again with cardio and some strength training on the said where I can fit it in. Ok, here we go! :)
